When Homer buys bad meat from Apu's Kwik-E-Mart, he helps catch Apu for Kent Brockman's "Bite Back" programme. Apu is fired by the Kwik-E-Mart company. Apu tells Homer he wishes to make amends and seems happy enough (singing this song). However he is not, so eventually Homer helps him get his job back.
