18: "Slanderous Mambo"
Tito Puente
Wounds won't last long
But an insulting song
Burns will always carry with him.
So I'll settle my score
on the Salza floor
with this vengeful Latin rhythm!
Burns!
Con el corazon de perro
Seņor Burns!
El diablo con dinero!
It may not surprise you
but all of us dispise you.
Please die
and fry
in hell
you rotten
rich
old wretch!
Adios viejo!
When the Elementary School strike oil and believe they will become rich, Lisa asks Tito Puente to become a new jazz teacher. However, Mr Burns pumps the oil first, so that he keeps a near monopoly of power in Springfield. He then tries to block the sun, so that people will need artificial light 24 hours a day. As a result, Mr Burns is shot by a mystery gunman and everyone in town is a suspect. During their investigation, Wiggum, Eddie and Lou visit Tito Puente at Chez Guevara and he sings them this song with the help of his Latin Jazz Ensemble. In the end it is found that the shooting was an accident occuring when Burns tried to steal candy from Maggie Simpson.
