This is the theme of Jebediah Springfield, the town's great founder. Unfortunately, Lisa found out that he was actually a murderous, silver-tongued pirate wanted for treason. However, after seeing the joy and community spirit Jebediah brings to the people of Springfield, she decides the myth has its merits.
