Warrumbungles National Park
Situated 350km north-west of Sydney, the Warrumbungle National Park is home to a number of peaks which were formally part of a shield volcano (estimated to have been active 13 million years ago). Here, (from l-r) Crater Bluff, Belougery Spire, the 100m high sheer cliff of rock that is the Breadknife, and Split Mountain can be seen.
