Calton Hill, to the north-east of the centre of Edinburgh, houses a collection of unusual monuments and buildings. The Dugald Stewart Monument, Nelson's Monument, the never-completed National Monument and the top of the city observatory are all visible.This is taken from the top of the Salisbury Crags, a great city vantage point between Arthur's Seat and Holyroodhouse palace.
