The twin 8m mirrors of the Large Binocular Telescope (LBT) on Mount Graham, Arizona, currently the world's largest optical telescope. The telescope has a total collecting area (mirror surface area) equivalent to a single 11.8m mirror and the resolving power (baseline) of a single 22.8m telescope.
