Prague is known as the City of a Hundred Spires, some of which can be seen here, photographed from the Powder Gate. In the foreground is the ornate Týn Church and to the left is the tower of the Old Town City Hall. Between them, the top of the Charles Bridge Old Town tower is just visible, as is the Church of St Nicholas in the Lesser Quarter. On the left of the skyline, next to Petřín Park, are the towers of Strahov monastery. The skyline to the right is dominated by St Vitrus's Cathedral and Prague castle.
